Maricarmen Farias aka as “MC”, is a triathlete from Mexico, currently living in Denver, Colorado.

MC is a great example of possibility, determination and courage. Starting as a true beginner, she has been able to turn her life around and step up to a new level of performance, with the mentorship and support of her coach Siri Lindley.

Philosophy

Being part of Team Sirius has allowed me to regain my passion for life and find joy within myself, it is my mission to give back and share with you the training philosophy & mindset tools that I’ve learned from Siri and Bek.

I am living proof that dreams are possible, that with hard work, relentless determination and support you can achieve anything you desire. Whether your goal is to do your first triathlon or take your current performance to the next level, I can help you.

It is my goal as a coach to work with you, & together find the tools you need to get you to where you want to be.

Triathlon Career

MC did her first triathlon back in 2011 at the age of 22, something that at the time seemed quite impossible. Crossing that first finish line brought so many valuable lessons and a huge desire to explore new possibilities.

Triathlon quickly became a vehicle for MC to set new standards, face fears, inspire, grow and gain confidence and belief in herself.

In only 2 years of being part of Team Sirius, MC has become the #2 female in Mexico.

On her 2nd 70.3 distance triathlon she finished 2nd female overall and 1st in her age group on Ironman 70.3 Monterrey, Mexico & topped that off by braking the age group bike record. Mc will be racing her first World Championship, in Nice France.

MC has also won multiple Olympic distance races in Boulder, Colorado, which allowed her to qualify to the National Championship for short distance triathlon, for 2 consecutive years.
